We were anticipating the Grand Opening for hours! Thursday night Cloe worked to offer a wonderful supply of grocery store items for our purchase. This was no child play either. This venue was complete with money, register, frozen foods, breads, samples, meats and produce to name a few. We even joined her for the ribbon cutting ceremony. The girls are all so creative and smart.

Aquarium
Talk about a great field trip! This was amazing. Despite the fact that Arlee-Jane couldn't locate any mermaids, we are looking to visit the aquarium many more times this year - what good is a membership if you don't use it? Our friends Roger and Wendy will be in Coastal SC at the end of the month. I am sure their daughter would love to convince them to schedule a visit there. (keeping with the "coastal" theme)
Rebbeka and Halee
I need to find out how to spell her name....? Anyway, These girls are having so much fun helping out at World Changers this week. It is such a relief to know that the Filos family is so "like-minded" in regards to the standard we hold for our families. I am looking forward to spending much more time with them all.
Fun in the Sun
We were finally able to make it to Edisto on Sunday for an hour or so. Avah is still feeling under the weather and Abbee's ear is still on the fritz. The worst thing was that we forgot to move the stroller into the wagon....not good to have to hold onto the little one the entire time. The best part - the whole family together! (Willie finally put the work phone down for a moment) I was scared watching Abbee trying to jump to clear the wave tops. She did a swell job. Halee, Cloe, Willie and Avah-Lilee were able to get past the breaking point so I wasn't too worried about them. Arlee-Jane was continually running to dry her eyes and state, "I am gonna die, that water might kill me!" We love our WATER BABIES....all 5 of them!
